What information we collect
- Contact and appointment forms: your name, email address, telephone number (where requested), preferred date, area of law and the message you write.
- Newsletter: your email address and the date you subscribed.
- Visit statistics: we count page views using a privacy-friendly counter that does not store your IP address or set cookies.
- Google Analytics (only when enabled and only if you click Accept on the cookie notice): anonymous information about how the site is used.
- Server logs: technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, kept for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to your inquiry, arrange consultations, send legal updates you asked for, keep the site secure and improve its content. We do not sell your personal information.
Confidentiality
Information you send us is treated as confidential. Please avoid including highly sensitive details in a first message; a lawyer will tell you how to share documents securely once your matter is accepted. Sending a message does not by itself create a lawyer-client relationship.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us run the website and email (for example hosting and analytics providers), or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry details for as long as needed to handle your matter and meet legal or professional obligations. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you emails, by writing to hirko@hirkoandassociates.com. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. You can decline analytics cookies on the cookie notice or in your browser settings.
